Not sure if you already had one fitted, but I have an unused S60 towbar sitting in my garage, twin electrics.
Professionally fitted to my S60 D5 but sold the car before we ever towed with it.
could be interesting obviously depending on price .and not to far either (i,m nr chester) also depends how much someone would charge to fit one .please let me know
If you are buying second hand, make sure that the towbar IS for the D5 engine (twin exhaust pipes) as the anchor points may be different to the 1.6 and 2.0 models which both have just single exhaust pipe on the near side.
The link below shows the different types of towball along with specifications and pricing details merely as a guide.

I'm pretty sure my 2003 D5 only had a single tailpipe, and i don't think they ever did a 1.6 Mk1 S60.
Is it the V60 you're thinking of?
My V50 D5 2.4 diesel has two exhaust pipes but I think I'm getting confused with S40 which is the saloon model equivalent to the V50 estate so my previous post are incorrect regarding the other models. After looking at the S60 model, it has a towball weight limit of 90 kgs. which the S40 and V50 are only 75 kgs. so I can clarify that they are not the same which was my mistake so please accept my apologies.
I'd go along with those who say autos are the best for towing. I have towed with automatics since I had a Mk2 Cortina automatic many years back, and I'd never go back to a manual.
I now tow with an elderly (2000) model V70 2.5 diesel, and its just great.
just a update on this one ,had the towbar fitted .everything A1+ the fitter said it was in as new condition ,just one of the control boxes was fused but he threw in a new one f.o.c as i'm a long standing customer . all good roll on the spring
