hi, anyone had the recall done on there vw,skoda,audi.seat, heard that there are problems after it has been done, anyone had any issues ?

It is.
Skoda letter states: no change to engine performance, max. torque or noise levels and the performance data already published, including fuel consumption values, CO2 emissions will also remain unchanged. It is due for it's service in January will leave it until then.

Look on the VW Tiguan forum, many have reported adverse reactions to the 1st attempt (which some VW dealers are still doing).

Another set of downloads are available to cure the first download resulting in 2 to 3 visits to your dealer.

Mine is booked for MOT next month and I have expressly forbidden them to apply the fix.

cancelled booking today to get update done.dealer not happy and tried to give me a lecture about updates must be done, i told them its my car,bought and paid for and running perfect, and you are not tampering with it, dealer hung up.
