Can a citreon picasso desire 16 petrol,pull a swift corniche 12/2 1990,we have towed before but just wondered with a Picasso,thanks

What's the MTPLM of the caravan? What's the max tow weight of the car? Without all the information we can't offer any meaningful advice. Some of the 1.6 petrol models have a very low max tow weight.

As above especially as Citroen have several Picasso models. C3, C4, Grand C4 and the Xsara.

Check your logbook (V5C) for the max tow limit (section O.)

If not post up the exact model/year etc.

Some 1.6's are 900kg max and some maybe less.

1.6i 900kg max tow.

1.6i 16v 1300kg max tow.

Your caravan max weight 1000kg.

So if your car is 1.6i 16v you can tow it...
