I own a Skoda superb which is subject to the recall for the emissions has anyone had this done and has it caused any problems with the way the car runs or tows

my octavia scout was booked in to get done but i cancelled it after hearing horror stories thru the trade grapevine. taking 3 or 4 visits to the dealers to get it right.

If i remember some of the post said that the car performed worse after it had been back to the dealers?

My Tiguan was recalled.Only thing i have noticed is, it rattles when you put your foot down.Its not lost any power but the engine "Note"seems to have changed.

Thanks for the replies have read a lot of conflicting reports on different forums especially about engine rattles at certain revs think I will leave a well running car as it is, can't fault the 170 bhp car fast frugal and comfortable and tows well.
