We had a similar Zafira and faced the same problem. Ended up going the folding camper route. Got a Pathfinder and the Zafira pulled that fine for a couple of years until we moved up to a heavier towcar. The Pathfinder is very "caravan like" with lots of extras. Served us well until we got a tin tent last year.
