Hi can anyone tell me whether or not the manual towbar fitted to a Mercedes C Class 350e is suitable for an Alko hitch on my caravan

I assume it's a swan neck so yes.

If it's dealer fit Merc part then it will be swan neck so you are ok.

If it's a flange ball, ie type with 2 bolts then it needs to be extended neck but it doubt it will be so you will be ok.

Not all swan neck towballs are suitable for Alko couplings. Those that are have usually been machined under the ball. However I would agree with Opensauce that being a dealer fitted part it should be suitable.

It is compatible - I nearly ordered one but changed my mind.

Not sure if you are ordering as a company car but if you are be aware the towbar comes with larger wheels and takes the co2 above the magic 50g tax break.
