As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I agree with what others have said. Contact the sites you want to visit first, and preferably get something in writing (email).
With some sites it will be a definite no-no, others will want you to leave it in the car park, others will have no problem at all with you bringing it on-site.
Leaf springs tend to be harder than coil springs and the shocks from bumps in the road so not get absorbed as well as coil springs. This extra shock can transfer into the caravans shell and cause issues.
Some manufacturers state not to be towed with vehicles with leaf springs. Old Landrovers etc also use them.
Very true Grampian91, but at one time most cars used leaf springs too, including my earliest tow-cars. I must admit I hadn't heard of this issue before, but I suspect it may apply mostly to more modern caravans. Well, we learn something every day.
Not being clever, but usually when someone mentions 'transit van' - or similar, the warnings about leaf springs / shock links and shaking your van to bits etc always seems to crop up....
