Hi I have a Vauxhall zafira life 1.6 petrol.I Passed my test afther 1997 so I can only tow Upto 3.5 tonnes MAM.according to my VIN plate my MAM Is 2090 and my train weight is 3100.if this is right do I subtract MAM From my train weight which would give me a tow limit of 1,010.is this correct?any help much appreciated!!! Thanks

The actual max towing limit maybe less than your 1010kg figure.

Some of the 1.6's will only tow 900kg max. They are also fairly low powered so that may restrict your choice also.
