So I searched for possible cars for towing but I have no idea what would be best and which car would be more reliable. My ford Focus with only a 1000kg towing limit is not enough for what I need, I think that about covers a tent in the boot maybe.
So looking at a couple of cars to have a change, on a tight budget mind so probably doesn't help was told Freelanders are good towers, as RAV4's but what is best.
Freelander - but then diesel or petrol Manual or Auto
RAV4 - again diesel or petrol
or
Nissan Trail
All ones I have seen all seem to be 2004 year they all have near enough over 120k miles. I do like the look of the Freelander TD4 but then does anyone have any ideas which one of these cars is more reliable engine wise and what kind of pulling these cars can do.
Cheers
bob :)
