Hi, Hubby and myself have to find a new tow car as our old Shogun has died. Funds are limited and we have thought about leasing but really would like some help deciding what car to look for. I don't think we actually need a huge 4x4 although we found the Shogun such a capable car. We have had in the past a VW Passat estate, a Kia Sorento and the Shogun. All have been old cars which cost us dearly to maintain and keep on the road as we are not able to do much ourselves. We have a Bailey Senator California which the Shogun towed with ease but we are not in a position to buy a newer version and always seem to get caught out when we buy old cars that end up being a money pit. Does anybody have any thoughts please?

Hi
Have you thought about a Ford Kuka AWD 163, I tow a 2011Swift Charisma 545 with a MTLPM of 1492kg find the Kuga tows with ease and returns between 28 to 32 mpg
There's plenty on auto trader within your budget some already with towball already fitted and a decent spec
