Just had our 3rd trip away and have done a bit of driving in between and the mpg is showing 36.6 mpg. Happy with that. Anybody else got similar or better?
We have a Santa Fe which is only 5 months old.It showed 32 mpg towing and 39 mpg solo,we have seen 42 solo.
From experience of our last Sorento which has same engine,it gets better with more mileage on!
Our van is a Bailey Unicorn max 1400kg.
If towing your mpg is pretty good as Santa Fe is heavier and is a 2.2litre.
------------- DS-There's more to life than football!!!
Renault Scenic 1.6dci xMod. 35mpg towing at 55-65mph constant on a hilly A1 in Northumberland. Same route without the box on the back gets around 60mpg. Actual not indicated.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

wow was that an average over a 1 mile downhill stretch with a following wind? :)
Makes you wonder what they could achieve when building cars and engines if economy was everything and power, emissions and safety were ignored.
