If you can tell us the weights of the car and caravan we can work it out for you. The car weights will be on the V5 and the weight plate on the car, the caravan weights will be on the plate by the door. There are so many different models of car and caravan that it is impossible to guess what your figures are so come back with the details and we can work it out for you.

1900kg is probably the cars max laden weight, its kerbweight will be much lower around 1300kg-1400kg.
Thats the figure you use when calculating your towing limits.
2011 is the crossover year for the focus, the older one will have a max tow of 1200kg and the vans probably close to that.
Your so close you need to double check all the figures.
Guessing your 1900kg figure is F1 on the logbook (V5C)?
Is G blank? If so you need to check the chassis plate on the door post.
But what does section O.1 and O.2 on the logbook show?

I have a 2013 Focus Mk3 1.6 TDCI Econetic and whilest it's very economical it's no ball of fire and I certainly wouldn't like to tow much with it. I'm used to towing with a 2 litre Mondeo diesel and that does tow well.

We also have a 2013 1.6 tdci econetic. Our caravan is a Sprite Finesse with MTPLM of 1074 and the focus tows it without any problems.

I have the older 2010 Ford Focus 1.6tdci and tow between 1,100 and 1,200kg which comes in around 82%.
Ford do say the maximum "technically permissable" tow weight is 1,300kg.
With the van loaded correctly it is an excellent combination to tow with.
Personally I would not like to try a hillstart with 1,300 kg on the back from my own experience.
