Our Skoda has a retractable tow ball. It is too tight to cover with a conventional tow ball cap so it is exposed to the weather and road debris albeit under the car.
Every time we use it, we have to spend ages cleaning and descaling it. We are trying to think of some type of cover that will protect it.
Thoughts so far: balloon, latex glove or condom. Worries: whatever is inside these things, may affect the attachment to the alco. Always spray with brake and clutch cleaner before using the tow ball anyway.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I have a Mk III Superb with pop out towball and use the rubber golf ball type cap. However it collects water when folded under the car which leads to rust.
