im back again with more questions
so ive had to change my tow car and have gone for a tiguan 2.0 DSG 2015 im keeping my caravan now while im back in saving mode anyhow the tig has a max nose of 100kg but not sure what the ideal weight should be for the caravan (bailey ranger 460/4 2009) or does it not matter as long as i keep under 100kg sorry if this has been asked a million times.

also im having the towbar fitted next week (detachable) with the VW canbus wiring thing 13pin will this keep my fridge cold ish or will i need extra wiring

As long as it's under 100kg its ok. For the wiring get written on the invoice 'fully wired 13pin socket'. Presumably fitter will know what he is doing & povide that. Some cars have 2 looms one for lights & one for caravan supply. Confusion has arisen that has resulted in only trailer lighting loom being fitted into 13pin socket meaning caravan road lights work but not fridge or charger etc.

Not necessarily an error because 13pin format is becoming standard even for trailers but if fully wired 13pin socket is required for caravan use this needs to be specified by customer & written on invoice as obviously fully wired costs more than trailer only wiring.

The 13 pin socket will incorporate everything so no extra wiring needed to run the fridge or charge the caravan's leisure battery.
Regarding the noseweight, because there won't be any issues trying to reduce the noseweight I would work around 7% of the weight of the caravan's MTPLM. If you look at the weight plate near the entrance door of the caravan the weight will be displayed there so all you need to do is use an online percentage calculator and see what 7% is of the MTPLM. The one I always use is shown in the link as you can calculate percentages either way.
