I am looking to replace our towcar. Willing to spend 7k on a new one.

Having looked for a couple of weeks I am astounded by the amount of Vauxhall Astra/Insignia there are available in comparison to say Fords/Skoda infact I would say total up all the other cars available and they would equal just Vauxhalls

Yes i appreciate that there might be more Vauxhalls made but as many as Fords ?

Any reason why so many Vauxhalls out there?

With the Astra im guessing your looking at 2012 - 2015 cars? Where in 2015 they updated it, so plenty of old shape cars discounted.

Also bigger discounts to the hire and lease companies.

Warehouses full of SAAB parts to shift?

Maybe you go to a lot of Vauxhall dealers. I thought the same when I went to the Peugeot dealer.

It could be that the previous owner came to there senses, and got rid of the problems

Saabs were much better built than Vauxhall!

Had my 93 convertible for 7 years its a lovely car

Astra not a bad car,Vectra yuk boring!

Huge discounts given to lease and rentals companies & can be cheap as chips.

I bought my wife a brand new zafira in 2013 for 10 grand with a life time warranty, I know it's not a great car but it was a lot of brand new car for the money,
