sorry if this has been mentioned before but im perplexed about towing with my fiesta? we have the option of a free Lunar Meteorite 1993 and was wondering if the fiesta would safely tow this van?

any help would be great

Look on V5 doc. Should give you max braked towing weight for car. I recall it is 750kg which is insufficient for that caravan which from memory has all up weight of 900kg.

Yeah unbraked trailer of 550kg and just 750kg braked. Only suitable for small teardrop style and compact style caravans not a full sized one.

If it is for free and you have room to store it, why not take up the offer, then when you change your car get one which is capable of towing it. In the meantime you will be able to carry out any repairs/upgrades you wish to do.
