What mpg do people get on a solo run please?
Not bothered about around town mpg, as that is never sparkling with most cars.

I've got a 2015 Santa Fe - same engine, and get 42-44 mpg on a decent motorway run.

We have a 67 plate KX3, bought it in Sutton Coldfield and drove it home to Sunderland it was returning 40mpg, around town about 28 but bear in mind the engine is still very tight, it should get better in time, great tow car, hope this helps

We have a kx1 and get about 40 on a decent solo run and 30 when towing. My husband is really happy with it and although it is not as economical as our last tow car, it tows really well and has plenty of power.

Many thanks for your replies.
I'll put the Sorento on the list along with the Alhambra and the Sharan.
We want the internal volume for "stuff" and prefer the high up seating position. 7 seats can be handy and the 4x4 could be useful, although we've only needed it once and a motor mover, which we now have, could have got us out of that problem.

We have been looking at the earlier versions of the Sorento as a possible replacement for our ageing Volvo V70, but there don't seem to be many for sale in this area. Does that mean there are none round here, or are people hanging on to them?
