No problem towing through Loughborough town centre, we have done it a few times in the past when we used to rally at the Steam railway at Quarn, we get off at the M1 junction for Kegworth and follow the A6 down from there, but mostly turn off onto the A6006 as we then head off towards our destination at Melton Mobrey these days as we no longer rally. Loughborough is easily sign posted along the A6 with some sections of Duel carriageway once you have passed through the village of Kegworth which is easy enough to do, just watch you speed as the camras do keep it down to a strict 30mph through the village centre.
I have never actually been to Barrow upon Soar knowingly, but may have passed through it without realising!

I will check the junction number with Bill once he gets up, l know its at the top of an incline off the M1 and you keep tight to the left hand lane, its the second junction round the island after the traffic lights, and theres a big drinks factory to the left as you turn into the A6 with a decent long layby if you need to stop off for a while.

Thanks, was thinking of coming off the M1 at j23, is the A6 junction better? actually wanted to go to Bradgate CL, but they could only do 2 days, full at the w/e, this time of year! Anyway, High Meadow where we are going is £2 cheaper with showers and loos and has good reviews. We are only coming from S. Yorkshire so should be no need to stop.

From M1 J23 to A6004 to A6 to Barrow upon Soar, is it ok? if not, is there another way? coming from the north.
Thats the best route, keeps you out of the town centre.
