Anyone have any advice with route from Manchester to Pwllheli towing a caravan? Obviously M56/A55/A487 towards Porthmadog, but google maps suggests taking the B4411 before Porthmadog as a cut through into Criccieth.
the best route would be head along A55 to cearnarvon then head for pwllheli not sure of road numbers but you will find it an easy road for towing, look at google earth. going to portmadog is out of the way, depends where the site is your looking for.
There are a couple of campsites on the B4411 that I take my Caravan to, Llwyn Bugeilydd and Cae Canol, so the road is navigable for caravans! The hill down into Criccieth has some speed humps near the council estate, but is doable with care.
But going to Pwllheli from the A55 I'd take the A499 out of Caernarfon.
