Hi John, I have a 2.2 Korando auto and it's a brilliant tow car. We towed to Spain and back earlier this year and the car managed it easily.

Are you looking at a brand new car? Sometimes there is a free tow bar offer through the CAMC which is worth having. The latest cars have a 7 year warranty whilst the earlier cars only have a 5 year warranty.

If there's anything in particular you need to know just ask.

PS I see you have a Pursuit 550/4, have you had it from new and have you had any warranty problems?

I am on my third Korando now and i must say i cant recommend them enough . I tow a bailey unicorn valencia but with a manual gearbox as i like to be in full control (2.2 ELX 4X4)
I prefer the 175bhp as its got that little extra grunt when needed. Ssangyong have always sorted little issues out in a timely manner with my local dealer (Unity Ssangyong)
For the goodies you get for a small price, what a tow car
Roll on Spain next year

Hi. We love our Pursuit, had it from new, just over two years now. Had the usual damp problem from the roof strap and some minor issues, all sorted out by our local service agent.

Well have taken the plunge and baught a new Korando 2.2 auto. So far so good, won't be towing until the spring.

Had our Korando 2.2 Manual for two and a half years. Towed round France and to numerous UK destinations. Brilliant car. No faults. Spot on.
