We have been thinking for a while about to change the car,but which to get the newer ones are 4 cylinder older models have 5
as a rough guide

2015 business edition 2ltr 180bhp manual with 75k on the clock free road tax 1560kg kerb weight around £9000

2012 D3 Auto 5 cylinder 2ltr 163bhp 50k on the clock £200 road tax 1660kg £8000

Both have same torque at 400 nm

Has anyone got either of these or similer what van are you towing with it and how good are they please

We have a 09 v70 d5,108,000 mls and it tows our 1485kg coachman effortlessly,returning around 30mpg towing and 50mpg solo

Had a V60 Cross Country D4 AWD, it was the 2.4 5 cylinder 190bhp. It performed well towing 1700Kg which was a 94% match. Gone back to an XC60 now.

We have a 2019 V60 D4 auto Inscription and tow a 2017 Coachman Laser 620/4, the ATC on the van and the Intellisafe on the car make this a really stable outfit and I have to put the speed limiter on when on motorways as the car has immense torque and feels far more powerful than the spec states. Yes we are close to 85% limits loaded but done properly there are no issues at all
