Is there anything wrong using this route for towing? want to get from Clevedon to Exe Valley site, Bridgetown and then to Ottery St Mary, but we could go the other way round. Proposed complete route is Faringdon, west Oxfordshire, Clevedon, Bridgetown, Ottery, Ferndown, Chichester.
Bit of a twisty narrow road in places and this time of year. It is normally very just plus’s add on to that Hinckley point c traffic as it’s partly the major road to the construction site. Any mor helping can give you just ask as it’s all local to me and the a39 all but runs past my front door

Where are you coming from as Bridgwater is a massive traffic car park most days now, due to numerous road works and added traffic from hpc, and school holidays. If you are using the m5 try Andy use junction 24, as it’s closer to that side of town and will miss the majority of the town traffic.

We have used the road to get to the Minehead CMC site. Very slow and twisty, more like a country lane. As you get nearer Bridgewater you will encounter traffic for the new power station. Better to use the M5!

The traffic around Bridgewater is horrendous due to the power station traffic.
I used to go fishing in the area but have long since given up trying to get there.

M5 to junction 27 take A361 to north devon
Stay on A361 until you reach large roundabout (bolham)
Third turning A396 stay on road for some miles passing Dulverton,
Bridgetown is off A396, Exe Valley site is on left after Badgers Holt on right, need to slow down or you will miss the turning.

The M5 won't get the OP to Dunster
You can if you if you go beyond Minehead and then come to Dunster that way.
