Someone with local knowledge has advised me to use this route to get to Bridgetown (turning around in the pub car park at Wheddon Cross to get on the A396). Has anyone used it or would the A39 be better? coming from Clevedon so don't really want to go south as will be going to Ottery St Mary afterwards.
