I am going to have a go at fitting an Alko style tow ball. Advice please on the correct torque setting for the bolts on the towball. Am confused as l have had various figures quoted to me.
Thanks in advance.

The correct torque for the bolts for the tow ball is 218 Nm and recheck them after 50 miles of towing due to possible settlement
That's just over 160 lbs./ft. torque which seems rather excessive for 2 x 16mm. nuts and bolts. I just use the correct length ring spanners and make sure the fixings are really tight because I've never found any relevant information as to what the correct torque should be.
Do you have a link as to where you obtained the torque settings?
