I am having problems with finding an insurer that accepts the Memesis as a recognised security lock. They appear to want the Alko .I prefer the Nemesis as it makes setting up easier.
Does any else get it accepted and with which insurer?

I chose to buy the Alko for the purposes of insurance. It can be a little fiddly to set up though...but needs must and all that.

ClubCare from C&CC just asked me for a wheel clamp and hitchlock. They didn't specify any particular make or model, or require any evidence that I had either. I would imagine though that if my caravan was stolen and I didn't have them fitted, my insurance would be invalid. However, to be honest my caravan isn't actually worth much money (except to me), which may have a bearing on it.

clubcare for us too, and I think we had caravan guard before that. Also tried Towergate too and think it was an option on their online forms.
