I believe you can drive up to 3,500kg maximum combined weight of your car and any trailer, so I'm fairly sure that a folding caravan with a total weight of 850kg would be ok. You will obviously have to check the weight of your car, but I'm sure it will be much less than 2,650kg.
However, there are others on here more familiar than me with current legislation. I passed my test in 1967, so I can drive up to 7,500kg.
