The car is a 2005 2.0 tdci, mileage is 171,655 it happily tows our mid 90's Elddiss Mistral, but recently the clutch has just started slipping when applying a heavy foot quickly, under gentle acceleration its fine.
My query is has anyone had any experience of towing their van after changing to a single mass flywheel, I understand fully why dmf are fitted to many cars, not just diesels, to even out the additional torque, hopefully prevent damage further along the drive train, crankshaft etc.
Just after input whether you drive an X Type, Mondeo, Skoda, Passat or whatever else.
