were going to seafeild caravan site in seahouses does anyone know the best route from the A1 coming from the edinburgh side towing a caravan thanks

if it was me i would go a few junctions south and take the newham/elford turning, then once in seahouses you turn right 200 yrds turn left, straight over the roundabout and then about 400 yrds turn left into the site

From the A1 to the site, going through Bamburgh, is only about 8 miles. The road isn't too bad, I have towed along it.

Any other route would take you through Seahouses which can be hairy on a busy day

we were staying up the road at Budle last week......Seahouses was rammed....no social distancing ....people not giving a toss.....avoid the crowds....great beach at Ross where you can sit a watch the seals in peace :)

Nice site seafield probly best pitch is 15 its enclosed on 2 sides it was very windy when we were there

Yep we have the odd drink and meal there, but the OH loves the pool I have never been in myself. We have been 3 times it's a treat I'm 60 next time there
