Hi quick question I'm travelling to Dalby Forest from the North East and I've been told to go via Hemsley and Thornton Dale turning left onto Whitby Gate in the town.... is Whitby Gate suitable for caravans. It looks quite narrow on Google maps. Has anyone any experience on this road.

perfectly fine, its about the same as when you come from stokesley to helmsley

You will be using the B1257 Stokesley to Helmsley avoiding Sutton Bank? When I go to Dalby I turn left at Thornton le Dale, Whitby Gate, the road is OK no problems for a caravan.
