I remember going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark in winter and in the summer it was bright in the morning and evening and I spent all day in an office without an outside window, I don't miss it at all.

If that is your vehicle registration document for your car it doesn't state any weights and that suggest to me it is not suitable for towing.

My first thought was the same as Kieron's (above). If no weights for trailers are given on the registration document, this usually means that the car is not approved for towing at all by the manufacturer. If this is the case, it would actually be illegal to tow with it.

This is an issue with some BMW and Merc cars including hybrid versions.

I hope your wife is ok and gets home soon. The weight plate doesn't show a gross train weight so you can't tow anything at all,at least you found this out before making an expensive mistake.
