Hi all
Looking for feedback on wind deflectors on my 16 plate Kuga ( not the roof mounted ones we used years ago) on my old Kuga it had the stick on type on both front windows, in 6 years of ownership I had no problems with them even after jet washing, I’ve fitted the ones that go into the window recess with the clips on several other cars in our family and these seem fine as well, any feedback would be appreciated.
Look forward to your replies
Thanks in advance
Graham
I have got them on my C-Max and they are great. I ordered mine from the Ford main dealer, more expensive than the cheaper ones with clips but they are type approved so you are covered by your insurance in the unlikely event of them coming off and damaging another car.
We have them fitted onto our Jeep and they are brilliant. Great if you have to leave the dogs in the car for a couple of minutes as plenty of fresh air through the vehicle in addition to the open sunroof.
We have wind deflectors on both our cars. One has stick on and the other channel fitted. Both do what they are made for but the channel fitted one's you get a slight wind noise when closed. Previous cars with them fitted have all been channel fitted and all had slight wind noise so in my opinion get the stick on one's if you can.

Hi Bernie are they the stick on type
Graham
They are a spring fit in the window channel but are one piece plastic without metal clips, manufactured by ClimAir but sold by Ford. They are marked ClimAir Sport.
I have had them on since I bought the car new 5 years ago and I have had no problems with them.
I have the clip-on type fitted and bought extra clips online for about a fiver a set and have had no problems. I had stick on ones on a previous vehicle as the clip-on type were not available for it. Found them difficult to fit as they stick as soon as they touch and they were almost three times the price that I paid for the clip-ons.
Hi all
Thanks for all the replies when I checked the Kuga I don’t think the stick on type will fit, on my 2010 Kuga it had a small amount of bodywork at the top of the door, on the one I have now 2016 only has a rubber trim so it looks like it’s going to be the channel type with the clips, detachable tow ball fitted yesterday so can’t wait to see how this one tows the previous Kuga was 163 bhp the new to me one is 180 bhp
Keep safe everyone
Graham
