we've got the newer navara 68 reg. Towing a twin axle swift conqueror. Hooks up well and sits level (although some say otherwise) tows a dream and we have a canopy on the back which we put the awning and other heavy stuff in to weight the back down a bit. Fuel pretty good too, can get mid-high 20's towing steady and high 30's/low 40 without. It's a manual too.

I am sure you are probably aware of the Navara "chassis isuse" if not have a look on google and i am sure it will come up.
2 friends of mine both had Navaras 57 and 58 plate i think . Both had the chassis problem .

L200 is a lovely motor but Mitsubishi are pulling out of the UK and Europe market and I am not sure what the spares situation will be like. It was never great on the earlier models with parts having to be air freighted to the UK for me on more than one occasion. All the Navara owners I know have had either chassis issues where the vehicle has literally collapsed on them or they have had expensive drive shaft issues. In the USA the Navara has had terrible problems and has damaged Nissan's reputation.
