The MTPLM should be on the plate on the caravan, usually near the door so it should be easy to check.
You haven't given the exact details of the Qashqai but a max tow weight needs to be checked along with the kerb weight. Many of the Qashqai models weigh about the same as the max tow you have stated, you should be aiming for a caravan MTPLM around 85% of the car kerb weight to get a safe match.Towing with a petrol will be harder work for you than a diesel so if your car is a smaller petrol engined version you will have to use the gearbox a lot to maintain progress.
