I’ve tried maypole universal and top clamps won’t fit to the mirror edge. Also ring RCT1420 which is substantial but straps are simply too short. If they were too long we could shorten them but we can’t make them longer!! Please let me know if you’ve got any that work. Ateca 2020. Many thanks. Keith

Milenco Aeros seem to fit most mirror types. They fit my Peugeot Partner which has big van mirrors.

Before you go out and buy a set, maybe pop to your local caravan accessory shop and ask to try them on your car, just to make sure.

If they are anything like other VAG mirrors, fit them upside down ie to the bottom of the frame. I’ve done that, with Maypole mirrors, to our Škoda.

Also put longer arms on using 12mm alu tubing, which can be bent a bit.

Emuk mirrors do all vw , seat , Skoda mirrors , hard to find but a bit pricy

I have Maypole strap-on mirrors. They were fine on my Volvo V70, fine on my Hyundai Tucson that I bought to replace the Volvo, but when I bought a Nissan X Trail to replace that, the straps were too short. I'd had them some years by then, so I was already beginning to think the straps might need replacing soon, so I went on ebay and bought some new, longer straps. Didn't cost much at all, and now they are fine on the X Trail too. Just got back from a trip to Hampshire using them.
