I keep seeing mention of cable guides under the A frame. My elderley Freedom Jetstream does not have one. Can they be bought and retro fitted?

Your message is listed under cable guide breakaway, is that what you are specifically refering to?

I suppose it could more correctly be Cable Guide for Breakaway Cable. I believe it is usually a round or oval metal eye.

You don’t need a cable guide. You loop the breakaway cable around tow ball or better still through a carabiner or shackle put through a loop or hole in towbar then clip the cable back on itself so you can adjust it so it don’t drag on ground.
