We had that Shogun years ago. Kept it for a year before getting rid. Couldn't afford to run it, was very heavy on diesel, and tax and insurance were hefty.

Thanks, we have bought a Hyundai Santa Fe, better than the Kia for us, and it's white and in Luton. Thanks samandrose.

We got rid of ours after 3 months as it was so heavy on fuel. Built like a tank and used the same amount of diesel as a V12 tank!
We have kept ours too long really. Someone OH vaguely knows from the Legion club overheard him saying he wanted to sell the car. Things have happened quickly since then.
Had two 2.5 Sorentos, built like tanks, nothing ever went wrong with them.
Then bought a 2014 Santa Fe, towed just as well as the Sorentos but had to replace the SLS, replaced with standard units and the car performed as well as with the SLS units.
Replaced it in 2021 with a pre-hybrid model with 100 miles on the clock. It's a bigger car but I need it for towing. I can get 25mpg towing, and have had 46 when solo, which is a significant improvement on the older one.
It's a lovely car and feels better put together than the pre 2018 model.
Well, ours has just towed to south Devon and back with no problems, including getting off a grass site with a significant slope (Farncombe Farm near Lambourn, can't recommend it).

I think I remember you asking about the slope on that site. You’ll do a useful review that will help others (having come across your reviews for sites I’m checking myself).
£25 per night, the hardstanding was an inadequate area by the entrance, the caravan was up in the air at the front (had to find blocks which were not provided) and on the ground at the back. Apparently there is free WiFi but we weren't given the code. The owner was away so we couldn't complain too much. We had just come from a site in Somerset which was £15 and better. Review to follow! At least it was easy to find.
