Welcome.

You don't say why you want to know, so covering all possibilities here.

Can't answer your question specifically, but can guide you away from making the mistake a great many make in checking the towball height in unladen vehicle state and then claiming it's 'Too high'! I think many cars rate as 'too high' in unladen state!

This is a useful explanation of the hows and whys on correct towball height: https://www.towbarexpress.co.uk/guide/towball-heights/

The goal is to get the caravan/trailer to assume the right stance in towing state! - it can make a big difference to how well (or badly!) a caravan/trailer tows! .... and, a too low tow hitch will likely ground out (it's often the jockey wheel, with damaging consequences!) on road humps etc., a too high hitch will often result in extreme rear underside of caravan/trailer (often the corner steadies, and again with potential damage) grounding out on all sorts of things and situations!

And the tow ball height is normally measured/stated to the centre line of the ball (ball is 50mm dia, so top is around 25mm higher, some balls have flat tops so a couple of mm or so under 25mm in that case).

Hi Chris, I have a November 2020 diesel X3 with a factory fitted tow bar.
With the boot empty the measurement from the ground to the top of the tow ball is 44cms. I suppose the size of your wheels might make a difference, mine has 19 inch wheels and my tyre size is 245/50 R19 105w.
My car and caravan sit really level when both loaded.
