I have written this before so apologies to those who have read it !!!
We met a guy in France last year with a new car and a new Tabbart caravan that he had collected from Germany and towed to Brittany
The towball was the wrong one and it was gouged below the neck.
He could not locate one locally (wouldn't phone Carefree) and so I lent him a file to flie down the excess casting.
You really do need the right one
There was a good article in this month's Practical Caravan mag about cleaning/removing Alko pads.
