I test drove one for an hour or so and could not get used to the wallowing on bends. No doubt an excellent tow car, and that's what it is.

wallowing on bends? can't say that has been my experience. Tyre pressures perhaps?

www.kia.co.uk you'll see some really brilliant offers there, dam good cars too. I know peole who tow with both the Sedona & the Sorento & they love them. A chap I know runs a sedona as a taxi & is on his third, he trades it as soon as the warranty runs out but has never had a problem.

Dear Ecclesman,
no...at least I don't think so, it was a new demonstrator...drove like I had a 500 gallon water tank in the back sloshing about
....couldn't be doing with that (as my mother would have said)
Now..it was the first 4x4 that I had ever driven....perhaps they are all like that???

Thanks to all. We have purchased a Manual Diesel and have so far towed a 05 Swift Challenger 490 and a Horse Trailer with 2 large horses in on a very bumpy grass showground. It performed beautifully. Well chuffed!!!!

Not sure yet Joe, Glasses Guide says some daft price but think it will be about 14k, going to ring where I got it from and ask them what its worth.

I think you may be right about it just being the difference of driving the higher bigger car. I probably felt that when I first got the Citroen C8, my first people MPV, so the transition from that to the Sorento probably has been less noticable for me. Horses for courses eh? ;)

I've just come back from a couple of days peace and quiet camping in the Lake district, decided to have a drive up the Hardnott(??) pass, there was a citroen berlingo about half a mile ahead seemed to catch him in next to no time and i wasn't even trying to! on some of the bends it felt like the tyres were about to shred the tarmac with the torque,i've never experienced anything like it,felt like it could have literally climbed a mountain. The auto was a treat stuck it in drive foot hard down and away you go!
