Lets get this right tentmad you are the ones causing these problems but you hate it as well. WELL STOP BL**DY DRIVING THE DAMN THINGS
well just how do expect your dinner to get into the shop s in the first place then or do you have a big enough garden that you can have cows sheep pigs and chickens and grow your own fruit and veg aswell as, of course keeping your family in clothing and shoes oh yes i bet you like a bit of salade on Boxing day to go with your cold meats!!! and then again do you want your working enviroment in a delapidated old office block or do you want a decent one that has recently been erected and cladded to keep you warm? and just how do you plan on going to the refinery to filll your car up with fuel then?
Not touchy Chalkie - just realistic. Road problems cause difficulties for HGVs as much as they do for us. The difference is - they have no choice but to be there. There are some things SOME HGV drivers do that annoy me (like hogging lanes 1 and 2 at 56mph going uphill, so I have no chance of getting past them with the caravan), but most are the salt of the earth and we'd be well stuffed without them. Leave 'em alone. (and I'm not an HGV driver, nor is any member of my family).
I started this thread off not for some of you to start having a go at each other calm down...... All I wanted to know was had anyone else had this awful experience and what without putting blame on anyone can we do to help ourselves whilst driving on the motorway. Thank you
Aaaw don't be a spoilsport Suzzie, we haven't even got started yet.
Why don't we have a vignette system like Switzerland and Austria so that they have the money to repair the roads? Oh yeah, silly me, we would spend it on weapons and foreign jollies for certain idiots in our society (who we aren't allowed to mention on here, eh Redtuts!!).
Ali
Sorry Ali, I'm a bit slow, only just noticed this one. Don't mention the unmentionables for goodness sake or Webby will be sending the bouncers to throw us out again!!
The Frontera we used to have was a nightmare on rutted roads. I hardly notice it with the Landrover.
