I've never fitted a stabiliser before so I'm not 100% sure what I have to do.
I have the piece fitted to the car now and I know which end goes into this and then you tighten up the little screw into the slot to secure it at the car end, then I asume you put the long end onto the slot for it on the caravan, the thing I'm not so sure of is the bar that sticks straight up in the centre of the circular part? Do I pull that down to horizontal and then remove the bar?
I hope someone can understand my explanation not knowing the tech names for the parts of the stabiliser!
If not I may possibly be able to get a pic.....
