! Speeding IS bad driving isn't it?

Of course it is! If the speed limit is 50mph and you drive at 60mph that is bad, not good. It's illegal. If it's illegal, then by definition it cannot be good!

Good driving is driving withing the limits. The speed "limits" are set by law, like it or not!

speed limit noun [C]
the fastest rate at which you are allowed to drive in a particular area:

Well, one good thing - we all finally agree with each other! Lol!

I cannot fathom some speed limits however. We have a road going out of Nottingham (other members from Nottingham will know the one I mean - going out to Eastwood and Ikea) that is a dual carriageway with no buildings or obstructions and the actual road is fenced off AND in a very deep cutting. It's actually in the open country but the speed limit has been reduced recently from 70 to 40! Most ridiculous when in a small town to the east of Nottingham, the 30mph limit does not come in force until you are well into the built up area.

Why don't we all just calm down and take our HAPPY PILLS!!!  No-one knows who's right or wrong about wether it's speed or just bad driving. If you stay legal then you'll stay alive,,,,just let the odd nutters out there get caught and laugh at them when you trundle passed at the required limit. You'll get to your destination before them and can relax knowing that you arrived in one piece.
