we had a vauxhall zafira 1.6 and it towed our bailey ranger great but due to vauxhall putting a maximum tow limit on them insurance is not valid if your over that limit even though the kerbweight works ok.

due to this we have had to sell our car after 3 months, i told OH should of got the van first.

please be careful we got told 3 different figures on vauxhall MTL

   hi mark if you check with vauxhall i believe there are alternative shock absorbers witch help with towing that can be fitted  i was told this by vauxhall dealer after not buying a zafira because of towing  weights might be worth checking before changing car
