Just recently bought a CRDi XS auto. Got it 4 weeks ago and it now has about 1800 miles on the clock.
Had the ECU remapped last Friday, well worth the £350!

Hi YG welcome to the forum and the Sorrie owners club!! i own an XE that has been converted to practically XS spec. i also run with a power box and K+N filter which brings my engine up to 178 bhp  but i still get between 24-26 mpg when towing, however i know the autos are a good bit heavier! if you are looking for some solid advice on the sorentos, i.e tech advice etc. feel free to ask and i will let you know of a cracking sorento owners web forum ( not sure if i am allowed to post links on now ) but honestly u have just bought a crackin motor!

Ooooohhh I am so-o-o-o-o-o jealous! Would love to be able to buy a Kia Sorento coz they've had such good reports as tow cars and poor hubby could do with a new car.

I see they've been voted towcar of the year 2006 too!

Getting him one of those is top of my wish list if me lottery numbers all come up

Enjoy your new motor YG...jammy beggar
