After my last post I was thinking about everything everybody had said and everything I've done. One thing I hadn't done was increase the rear tyre presures (thinking sidewall flex). So I put an extra 10psi in each side and off I go again on the M20. checked the nose weight at 98kg. No difference, swayed like a drunken sailor. Stop at Maidstone services and stood well back and looked at the outfit, perfect.

One other thing I hadn't done before or considered is take the stuff (about 35kg, well within the 75kg limit) out of the "garage". Allthough this would have no bearing on my first post and made no sense. Then again nothing has. I put the stuff just behind the axle line and set off down the M20. Towed almost perfectly! I passed HGVs with no problem, just a very slight twitch at 60mph. High sided vans passed me and again just a twitch, more a push. When I got home I checked the noseweight and it read 106.7kg.

I think I've cracked it! But what's the point of having a storage area with a warning sign saying not to exceed 75kg when it would seem you can't use it at all!
