Hiya
My first post so hi everybody and thank you in advance.
I’ve been wondering something and hope that this is the right place to find out.
I’m new to camping and have noticed that there is a range of tent pegs for different types of ground - rock, soft etc, but there doesn’t seem to be any mention of the type of tent that they are suitable for.
Does the type of tent make a difference to the tent pegs one should use? For example, I have a couple of wild country 2/3 man tents and they’ve come with the standard red alloy v pegs - I like them as they’re light and easy to use. I’ve recently also bought a Wild Country Homestead 52 which is a big, solid family tent. That came with decent, heavy steel pegs in the old fashion. Is there any reason not to use the red alloy pegs on my Homestead?
