Thankyou, Id love to join you, I dont really have any friends that are in to this kind of thing so It would be good to make new ones! Most people I know are all up for doing things but when it comes to the crunch ...
The only thing holding me back at the moment is lack driving licence! I should be on the road as of the 14th of this month hopefully (crosses fingers) and I would love to join you! My email is;
Havn't been in that pub for years, used to live up the road, didn't know it was still going, didn't like sitting on the seats really, definitely an experience for anyone in the area!! Have a great time, glad you got sorted with a good tent and have picked up all the extras.
Missed the first couple of days of this thread - dont know how as I'm on here a couple of times a day! Just wanted to second what you were saying about the advice you got. Apart from the actual tent, all our other start up equipment purchases - including "dont spend a fortune if you can get it from Tesco" type of advice, and our choice of first campsite were based on advice from the folks posting on UKCS. They are such a great bunch - I posted a thank you thread of my own a couple of weeks ago. Everyone seems genuinely keen to ensure that everything goes well, and genuinely delighted to hear of successful trips. Enjoy yours, and let us know how it goes!
