Hi Julie, got back about an hour ago " cream crackered ", spent the night at a farm campsite, just a field, & a thunderbox. Had a good time though, driving around a bit of Devon I am not familiar with, & just far enough into Doset to visit Lyme Regis. They have indeed re-floated the Napoli, & is now about 3/4 of a mile offshore. Trouble is, as quick as they are pumping water out of one end, it's filling up through a split in the other. I was told that welders are trying to repair it underwater, but the seaweed is doing what seaweed does at this time of year, & turning the sea into a pea souper !. I think they want to repair it enough, so they can safely tow it to the graveyard, but no one wants it in their backyard.

I did have a beer in Beer, & then found an offy that sold Elderflower wine, I took full advantage of this, & slept very, very, well

Hi clinker john
well I didn't fall in the river cause I'm here!! lol
It was excellent.. my first meet done, I really enjoyed meeting the people that I had spoken to on here. It was weird at first cause without realising I had built up a mental picture of some of the people & I was way out!!
Apart from their personalities cause oviously you see that on here!!
The weather was very good to us & especially me..cause all the way up it rained.. in fact whilst driving for 3 1/2 hrs it threw it down.. but miraculously it stopped when I needed to put up the tent...& then it was pretty much nice the whole time.
How lucky were we!!! lol
so glad I decided to go & on the spur of the moment too cause that's always more enjoyable anyway!! hope you had a good weekend!!
