As my garden is continually reduced to leaf-less stalks by these vermin I'm not surprised that tents are now on their menu.

Our dog loves the guy ropes.

Our tent is the one with the many many knots in the ropes, and the sheepish looking dog

My sister once camped in our field with the horses.  My pony decided to try and pull the windscreen wipers off her boyfriend's car and then she chewed my sister's pants!  Fortunately (for the pony) they were clean.   So beware if you are camping in the New Forest, the New Forest ponies are as bad as rabbits!

I had never encountered rabbits before, however I have just returned from two weeks at the C & CC site at Slapton.  Those who have been there will know that rabbits roam the site almost oblivious to the human occupants.  I had a cereal packet and another box with teeth marks, plus a punctured sugar bag which I can only attribute to the furry friends!  Needless to say the sugar was consigned to the rubbish bin.  Laying in bed the sound of the rabbits feeding a few feet away outside the tent was clearly audible - it's nice to be close to nature and blending in with the local residents!
