Also peeved - we took our Vermont XL back to the supplier after the bank holiday weekend and had a refund as it had leaked earlier in the summer and they couldn't replace it.  We are officially tentless and can't go away at the moment even if we wanted to.

We're going to replace it but think we might wait for the 2008 models as there seems to be some exciting things coming our way.  We might even buy a smaller tent for short weekend camping so hopefully it might be nice for the next few weekends and we'll get away before the end of the season.

Fingers crossed - have a good weekend all those who are lucky enough to be away this weekend.

just booked next weekend and the weekend after in my unleaky outwell,wish campers would report more often on their good tents!

Weekend turned out differently than planned - we went away to the convention on Friday but only stayed the one night as we really hated the hotel. What we saw of the 'con' was fine - but neither hubbie or I wanted to spend another night in the hotel the con was being held in!!

So when we got home we rang the Cote Ghyll campsite in North Yorkshire (a site we had planned on going to next year) to see if they had any vacancies - they did so we went up there on the Sunday and had a wonderful 3 days relaxing & walking. Shame it's all over now, our last trip of the year and the camping gear has now all gone back in the loft - roll on 2008!!

Everyone else who went to the 'con'  had a great weekend - so in the end everybody was happy which I'm very pleased about!!
